COACH Middle East

COACH is a globally recognized luxury fashion house, known for its craftsmanship, leather goods, and modern American luxury aesthetic. With a heritage rooted in quality and innovation, COACH continues to evolve its brand experience to meet the expectations of today’s digitally connected luxury consumers.

In the Middle East, Al Tayer Group is the official distributor and operator of COACH, managing the brand across physical retail and digital channels. With deep expertise in luxury retail and enterprise operations, Al Tayer Group plays a critical role in bringing premium global brands to the region with localized excellence.

To strengthen COACH’s digital presence and align it with regional customer expectations, Al Tayer Group set out to launch a modern, high-performance eCommerce platform—one that reflects COACH’s luxury positioning while integrating seamlessly into Al Tayer’s enterprise retail ecosystem.

01. The Challenge

Launching COACH Middle East as a premium digital storefront required balancing luxury brand experience with enterprise-grade operational complexity.

The platform needed to operate across United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, delivering a fully localized experience in English and Arabic (RTL), while integrating deeply with Al Tayer Group’s backend systems.

Key challenges included:

Luxury Experience with Performance Expectations

Luxury customers expect digital experiences that are:

  • Fast and responsive

  • Visually refined and brand-consistent

  • Seamless across devices, especially mobile

Meeting these expectations required a PWA-first architecture capable of delivering app-like performance without compromising SEO or scalability.

Enterprise Alignment & Real-Time Operations

The platform needed to integrate with:

  • A custom Order Management System (OMS)

  • Retail Management Systems (RMS)

  • Downstream fulfillment and reporting systems

Real-time inventory accuracy was critical to prevent overselling and to support advanced fulfillment scenarios.

Complex Checkout & Regional Payments

Customers in the GCC expect a wide range of payment options, including:

  • Checkout.com as the primary PSP

  • Apple Pay and PayPal

  • Regional BNPL providers Tabby and Tamara

  • Cash on Delivery

  • Multi-payment within a single order

All payment logic had to remain invisible to the customer while preserving a smooth, luxury-grade checkout experience.

Omnichannel Fulfillment Expectations

The solution needed to support:

  • Store Pickup (Click & Collect)

  • Multi-shipment orders from different fulfillment locations

  • Delivery slot selection during checkout

This required precise orchestration between commerce, OMS, and retail systems.

Engagement & Retention from Day One

Beyond transactions, the platform needed built-in capabilities for:

  • Abandoned cart recovery

  • Loyalty program integration

  • Gifting experiences such as eGift Cards and Gift Registry

  • Lifecycle marketing via Salesforce Marketing Cloud

02. The Solution

To meet these challenges, we designed and delivered a Salesforce-centric, PWA-first commerce ecosystem that combines luxury experience with enterprise reliability.

PWA Kit–Powered Frontend

We implemented a Salesforce PWA Kit storefront delivering:

  • App-like performance optimized for mobile

  • Fast load times and smooth navigation

  • SEO-friendly architecture

  • Fully localized English and Arabic (RTL) experiences

This ensured COACH customers enjoy a premium digital journey aligned with the brand’s global standards.

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Core

Salesforce Commerce Cloud powers the core commerce capabilities:

  • Product catalog and pricing

  • Promotions and campaigns

  • Checkout and order creation

  • Multi-market configuration for UAE and Kuwait

A single backend enables efficient operations while maintaining brand consistency.

Real-Time OMS & Fulfillment Orchestration

Integration with a custom OMS enabled:

  • Real-time availability checks

  • Intelligent order routing

  • Support for home delivery, Store Pickup, and multi-shipment orders

  • Accurate delivery promise calculation and delivery slot selection

Advanced Checkout & Payment Orchestration

We implemented Checkout.com as the PSP, supporting:

  • Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Mada)

  • Apple Pay

  • PayPal

  • Tabby and Tamara

  • Cash on Delivery

  • Multiple payment methods within a single order

Checkout flows were optimized to preserve simplicity while handling complex payment logic behind the scenes.

Marketing, Loyalty & Customer Engagement

To support long-term engagement:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud powers campaigns, journeys, and abandoned cart recovery

  • A loyalty program rewards repeat customers

  • eGift Cards and Gift Registry enable gifting use cases
